On October 21, 2025, the "Empowering Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-sized Cotton Textile Enterprises with Intelligent Manufacturing" event was successfully held in Zhangjiagang City. This event is hosted by the China Cotton Textile Association, organized by the Intelligent Manufacturing Professional Committee of the China Cotton Textile Association, and co-organized by the Zhangjiagang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Zhangjiagang Textile Industry Association, and the Zhangjiagang Core-spun Yarn Industry Chamber of Commerce. It has received strong support from Jiangsu Haima Textile Machinery Co., LTD.

The event, through a combination of on-site observation and special topic discussions, deeply showcased the innovative vitality and intelligent transformation achievements of Zhangjiagang's core-spun yarn industry, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of the industry.

At the beginning of the event, the research team first visited the "Core" exhibition hall of the Zhangjiagang Core-wrapped Yarn Industry Chamber of Commerce. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest achievements and current industrial status of the core-spun yarn industry in terms of material innovation, process optimization, and market expansion.

During the conference exchange session, industry senior expert Guo Min, Lu Liqiu, the president of Yancheng Textile Industry Association and the chairman of Jiangsu Haima Textile Machinery Co., LTD., Dai Fei, the general manager of Nanjing Sizhiquan, Chen Tengyue, the deputy director of the sales and service department of the Acrylic fiber division of Jilin Chemical Fiber Group, and others engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on aspects such as technology implementation, industrial collaboration, market trends, and product research and development.

At the end of the meeting, Jing Shenquan, vice president of the China Cotton Textile Association, made a concluding speech for this event. He affirmed the strategic choice of Zhangjiagang Deji core-spun Yarn Industry to focus on the chemical fiber path, believing that this clear positioning has avoided direct competition with traditional cotton spinning in Xinjiang and other places, and has blazed a unique and differentiated development path.

President Jing further summarized and pointed out that the core achievement of this event lies in clearly demonstrating that "intelligent transformation and digital transition" is not only about the upgrading of equipment, but also a comprehensive innovation from production models, management thinking to the industrial ecosystem.
