From June 4th to 5th, 2025, the Annual Meeting of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles and the Standard Review Conference were successfully held in Hangzhou. Over 160 representatives from industry associations, research institutes, colleges and universities, customs, quality inspection systems, inspection institutions, manufacturing enterprises, and standard drafting units attended the conference. Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, Li Guimei, President of the China Industrial Textiles Association, Ma Yongmei, General Manager of China Textile Research Institute Co., Ltd. of General Technology, Wang Guojian, Director of the Standards and Measurement Division of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, Li Yuhao, Chief Engineer of the China Industrial Textiles Association, and China Textile Standards Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd. of General Technology Zhang Hui, the deputy general manager of (hereinafter referred to as "China Textile Standards"), attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Ma Yongmei, the general manager of China Textile Academy Co., Ltd. of General Technology and the deputy director of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles.

Liu Feifei, director of the Secretariat of China National Textile and Apparel Council and secretary-general of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles, made a summary report on the work of the committee in 2024 from aspects such as optimizing and improving the standard system, the work of standard formulation and revision, international standardization work, the winning of science and technology progress awards for related projects, and the situation of funds. And from promoting the establishment of the Nonwoven Materials Sub-Technical Committee and the Textile Materials Sub-Technical Committee for Filtration and Separation of the National Technical Committee for Industrial Textiles, doing a good job in the project application for standard formulation and revision, improving the conversion rate of international standards, completing the standard formulation and revision tasks on schedule, promptly conducting the review of the standards under the jurisdiction of the technical committee, strengthening the publicity and implementation of standards to promote their effective implementation, and strengthening The work plan for 2025 was introduced in terms of the self-construction of the standardization committee and other aspects.

Li Guimei, the president of the China Industrial Textiles Association and the deputy director of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles, read out the "Decision on Commending Advanced Units and Individuals in the Standardization Work of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles in 2024".

Wang Guojian, Director of the Standards and Metrology Division of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China National Textile and Apparel Council and deputy director of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles, read out the "Decision on Supplementing Observers of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles".

Guo Dan, the former director of the First Review Department of the National Standardization Technical Review Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation, delivered a keynote report titled "How to Improve the Quality of Standard Application and Approval". Guo Dan introduced from three aspects: promoting standardization work through new quality productivity, the problems existing in standard application and approval, and how to improve the quality of standard application and approval. It particularly emphasizes that the quality of standard project initiation (root), the quality of standard formulators (fundamental), the technical quality of standard content (core), the textual quality of standards (image), and the procedural quality of standards (guarantee) are the five important links in standard quality control.

Li Lingshen, vice president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council and director of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles, delivered a keynote report titled "Promoting Innovation and Development of the Industrial Textiles Industry through Standards", covering three aspects: an introduction to China's industrial textiles industry, its innovative development, and the role of standards in leading the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. Li Lingshen fully affirmed the contributions made by the Technical Committee for Industrial Textiles in the standardization work of the industry. He also pointed out the situation and challenges faced by the standardization work of industrial textiles, such as the numerous interdisciplinary aspects, wide application scenarios, high degree of product differentiation, and great difficulty in standard development. Li Lingshen emphasized that industrial textiles are not only an important part of China's textile industry and the most dynamic field of technological innovation in the textile industry, but also an important component of the country's strategic emerging industries, a diversified high-tech industry that transcends traditional textiles and spans many fields. We should adhere to the principle of leading and facilitating the high-quality development of the industrial textile industry with standards. We should take promoting the high-end, digital and intelligent, green and low-carbon, and internationalized standards of industrial textiles as the key tasks for future standardization of industrial textiles, further drive the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, and lay a strong foundation for creating new quality productivity in the textile industry.

In addition, the meeting also approved and passed "Fiber Ropes for Positioning and Mooring of Offshore Platforms - Part 1: Eight national and industry standards, namely "General Specifications", "Fabrics for Camping Tents and Sunshades", "Nonwoven Fabrics for Sanitary Water Spunlace", "Degradable Polyvinyl Alcohol Composite Fabrics for Protective Clothing", "Nonwoven Fabrics by Sewing", "Large-Interval Woven Interval Composite Fabrics", "Nonwoven Fabrics for Coffee Filtration", and "Nonwoven Fabrics for Traditional Chinese Medicine Filtration".

The meeting completed all the scheduled agendas and achieved a complete success.
