The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publicized the list of the sixth batch of national industrial heritage to be recognized and the list of the first and second batches to be approved for review. The former site of Shanghai 17th Cotton Textile General Factory, Great China Yarn Factory and Huafeng Yarn Factory were selected for the sixth batch of proposed approval list, while Dasheng Yarn Factory and Qingdao National Cotton Factory were selected for the list of proposed review.

National industrial heritage refers to the industrial heritage formed in the long-term development process of China's industry, with high historical, scientific and technological, social and artistic value of the cotton textile industry as the beginning of the world industrial revolution and the mother industry of China's industrialization process, its industrial heritage has been selected for a number of national industrial heritage list such as Tianjin third cotton textile Factory, Changzhou Daming yarn Factory, Ningbo Hemeng yarn Factory, etc. With the continuous change of the division of labor and trade pattern of the cotton textile industry chain, the struggle spirit of the cotton textile people will continue to be inherited.

The selection of more cotton textile industry heritage will further promote the craftsman spirit, model worker spirit, entrepreneurial spirit and the transformation history of the cotton textile industry, and contribute to the prosperity and development of industrial culture.
